The BLM roundup of 200 horses in the Confusion Utah HMA is set to begin January 15. BLM is providing no opportunity for public comment and has no easily accessible information about this roundup on its website.
In order to appeal this roundup, we must locate find someone who has visited the Confusion Utah HMA and seen the horses. Unless we can locate such a person, we do not have standing to pursue appeals.
Please contact Eric Kleiman at eklei@earthlink.net if you have visited Confusion or you know someone who has, or someone who has definate plans to visit the herd-area in the future.
