Ely District BLM Has a "Change of Heart" - Reconsiders Plan for Illegal Removals

In the light of all negative comments they have been receiving and a threat of getting hit with "the crown jewel" of lawsuits themselves, and now, more recently, in light of the new ruling that came down yesterday in regards to a Colorado case which is the crown-jewel of wild horse litigation as it stands now (Wild Horse & Burro Coalition v. Salazar (Case # CV-06-09 RMC) and which couldnt have come at a better time for Nevadas Wild Horses, (where a DC District Court says that the BLM DOES NOT have the authority to remove "non-excess" horses.) - in view of all these developments, the Ely Office of the BLM has had a "change of heart," and has now decided (after all) to reconsider their plans for the same such illegal removals. Now, they are scratching their heads over what to do with all them "gol'dern' wild hosses" standing in the way of their "Great Basin" development plans.

Dont believe me? Find out for yourself: Give the Ely Office a call. Ask for Chris Hanefeld, their PR guy. Tell him "MuleKist" told you to call. He'll get a kick out of that --- a mule-kick!

This is WONDERFUL news!!! Now I just wish that the ones they have already rounded up would be returned back to where they came from and turned loose.
